IDRC Davos 2010 (30 May 3 June 2010)

After the past successful conferences in Switzerland and China, IDRC in its biennial process will be back again in Davos, Switzerland. The IDRC Davos 2010 will be held in the Davos Congress Centre from May 30th to June 3rd 2010. The conference will continue the dialogue between the different risk areas and their stakeholders, but also serve as a bridge between governments, administration, science, the private sector and society. The integrated approach for risk reduction and disaster management, climate change adaptation, public-private partnership, capacity building will be over-arching topics.

To make this conference a success, we would like to ask your feedback regarding the topics which are of main interest from your perspective. We plan to hold again plenary and parallel sessions, poster sessions and workshops. Your ideas for new forms of holding a conference will be most welcome.
