Former Technical Director of GeoHazards International, a California-based non-profit organization, and Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. Dr. Villacis has implemented multidisciplinary programs in more than twenty countries worldwide. Most of these projects were implemented in collaboration with international organizations, such as the United Nations, the World Bank, USAID, NATO, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
