IDRC Davos 2012 Welcome Reception

The 4th International Disaster and Risk Conference IDRC Davos 2012 will opened on Sunday, 26 August 2012 at the renewed Plenary Hall of the Davos Congress Centre. The opening ceremony will be followed by a welcome reception which offer you the first of ample opportunities to establish business relations with the over 1000 participants from over 100 countries representing UN- and IO-institutions, science, business, politics, NGOs and the private sector.

Poster Receptions

Use the opportunity to discuss findings and exchange experiences with delegates and speakers during the poster receptions on Tuesday and Wednesday.

An area on the conference premises has been designated to the presentation of posters giving information on various projects and activities in the field of disaster and risk management.

Closing Dinner

The IDRC Davos Closing Dinner will be held at the Schatzalp on Thursday, 30 August 2012. The Closing Dinner offers the perfect way to unwind after a week of intense discussions. Immerse yourself in the breath-taking view from the Schatzalp and use this opportunity to meet old friends and colleagues, refresh contacts and start new networks.
