IDRC offers its participants to offset their carbon emissions, in order to promote climate mitigation efforts and climate neutrality.

In 2008, 42.16 tons of CO₂ were offset by the participants of the Davos conference in a certified MyClimate carbon offset project located in the west of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. As well as the contribution to climate protection, the project brought an improvement in the economical, social and ecological situation in the region. We would like to thank all participants who joined this initiative!!!
