André Bationo is Senior Resource Mobilization Officer at AGRA, the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa. He previously served as AGRA’s West Africa Director, Deputy Director of the Tropical Soil Biology & Fertility Institute, and Principal Soil Scientist at the International Fertilizer Development Center. André has authored over 300 publications, and has received awards from the Government of Niger and the International Fertilizer Industry Association. He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Chemistry from Laval University, Canada, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Sweden.
